Senate Democrats flip-flop on FEMA aid cave-in to Republican muscle

Washington, D.C. (Sept 26) – The nation must be wondering exactly what has happened within the halls of the Senate Hart building as, once again Senate Democrats prepared an emergency funding bill that matches Republican demands.

Is it quite possible Democrats are becoming intimidated due to the strong-armed GOP tactics reminiscent of the hostage taking during the cocaine wars of the 80’s? Are grandchildren and family members being held against their will by these thugs, or are the Democrats simply just wimps?

The current dilemma facing the nation, well government employees and officials is nothing more than the same crap the nation has been dealing with since the Senate Minority leader declared war against the White House promising a “no matter what” victory regarding the 2012 battle for the White House.

Face it, even congressional Democrats must realize the results of sticking to their guns, and fighting for the nations masses, could result in a suspension of their own paychecks dealing a stunning blow once again, to a nation begging for leadership and backbone from the halls of congress.

A Senate vote on the budget is scheduled for today, following a Senate defeat of a seriously flawed budget (bill) passed up from the House prior to House members exiting Washington on Friday to head home for what they believe is another well-deserved break. Congressional Republicans that actually believe they deserve as much as a day off from their alleged jobs, are doing nothing more than laughing in the faces of the nations voters as, neither House nor Senate Republicans have produced one single measure over the past two-years, less one considers running up large bar tabs at local brothels as being productive.

The current bill Senate Democrats plan on bringing to a vote removes the $1.5 billion dollar budget cut to the electric car program however, the plan calls for more than $3 billion curt from the FEMA disaster relief funding which in fact, mirrors the House Republican deal. Exactly who is in charge in this nation, Carlos Escobar, isn’t he dead?

Anyway, as the nation continues to decay like a rotting tooth in the sore mouth of American voters, one would imagine the quickest resolve to the entire issue would be to hand over the keys to the nation to the Republican counterparts in China.

Once again, the American public is forgotten, and god forbid if, the GOP does take full control next year, the nation’s most cherished group, our senior citizens mine as well begin lining up at the Soylent Green factories as, there will be no organization left to lend them a hand.
